SEPTEMBER 2, 2015—Certus Manufacturing (formerly Air Resource Vending), a leader in air and vacuum equipment for convenience stores, will be unveiling their most recent technology upgrades at the upcoming NACS tradeshow. In the spirit of continuing to improve the customer experience, Certus will be standardizing all of their credit card readers with nearfield technology. This will allow customers to use Apple Pay and Android Pay for their air and vacuum purchases along with accepting all major credit and debit cards.
Certus has partnered with Cantaloupe Systems to create a brand new remote monitoring system, exclusive for Certus customers only, which meets a higher level of transparency for their customers while upgrading to the newest technology like nearfield operating systems. San Francisco based Cantaloupe Systems is new to the air and vacuum industry but has a long track record of success in the vending arena with over 125K units in the field. Tammy Baker, Vice President of Engineering at Cantaloupe, has been leading the charge to customize a solution for the needs of the air and vacuum industry. “The Cantaloupe team embraced the opportunity to expand our offering into another area of the vending world by partnering with Certus who models our philosophy by always using the newest technology as a market differentiator”†said Baker.
In addition to nearfield technology upgrades, the new operating system will have state of the art alert systems to improve uptime of all equipment. When Certus President, Chris Frost, began working with Cantaloupe the top priority was to maximize the operating efficiency of all equipment.
“Our goal at Certus is to manufacture the highest quality of equipment that is as easy to use as possible for the Convenience Store consumer. Partnering with innovators, like the team at Cantaloupe, allows Certus to continue the trend of having the newest technology in the marketplace for our customers”†said Frost.
